My countdown clock says there are only 38 days, 21 hours, and 10 minutes until the 2009 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference!!! Time to register if you haven't, and time to plan on networking with those people you don't get to see that often. Marian has certainly been preparing! -Sheryl

There is still time to submit a program proposal for the Rural Libraries Conference!
We are extending the submission date for conference program proposals for the Rural Libraries Conference to September 12th. Thank you to those who have submitted proposals already. We have gotten many good ones, and can use some more, especially in the areas of service to children, to teens, and to older adults (aging baby boomers), technology, and trustee development.

This is a "save the date" message about the Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference for 2009. We must await final contract approval by the State, so this is still not written in stone (but etched on glass, perhaps?), but please save the date for:
